Yoga Classes in Guelph Ontario

*Quiet Mindful Practice is an opportunity for intentional calming of the mind and for developing a greater sense of your own inward journey.  The practice is not so much about what we do but how we do it.  Suitable for beginners or anyone desiring a gentler approach to their yoga practice. 

*Yoga for Relaxation is a class for those seeking a deeply relaxing experience using the breath, slow movement and other practices to relax both mind and body.   A class may include some more active or strenuous poses depending on the season, but always ends in a quiet way with floor postures being the focus.

*YIN Yoga is both a challenging and profoundly relaxing style of yoga concentrating on connective tissue and the bones of the body.  This is done through by-passing the use of your muscles (yang).  The postures are done almost exclusively on the floor, often aided by props and and held for 3-5 minutes each.  This style of yoga is suitable for beginners and those doing regular yang style yoga practice such as vinyasa yoga.

  • Classes, Thursday 11:10 a.m. -12:40 at Victoria Park Seniors Centre
  • Classes, Thursdays 4:15-5:30 pm at Yoga on the Grand

**Sunday Community Yoga Classes are run by local yoga teachers, by donation and all proceeds go to various local charities.
